Delver Agents in Ushuaia is seeking a Port Agent to join our Operations team, focused on supporting cruise and expedition vessels. The role coordinates vessel operations from pre-arrival planning to departure, ensuring safety, efficiency, and timeliness, while serving as the main liaison ashore between vessel, client, authorities and service providers.

You will work 100% onsite at our Ushuaia office and interact with Masters, crew, port officials and suppliers.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate vessel arrivals, port stays and departures with continuous communication.
• Arrange port services, mooring, water, bunker, waste, provisions and crew movements.
• Provide operational updates to Masters, officers, and client representatives.
• Liaise with Port and Maritime Authorities, Immigration, Customs, Coast Guard and others.
• Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers and service providers to minimize delays.

This role is 100% onsite at our office in Ushuaia.

We are looking for a Port Agent to join our Operations team, primarily focused on supporting cruise and expedition vessels.

The Port Agent coordinates and oversees vessel operations during each port call, from pre-arrival planning through to departure, ensuring all activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and within the expected timeframe.

The Port Agent acts as the main liaison between the vessel, the client and all parties involved ashore, including Port and Maritime Authorities, Immigration, Customs, Coast Guard, suppliers, service providers and other organisations involved in the operation.

The role also represents the agency to the Master and onboard management team, serving as one of their main points of contact throughout the port call.

Main Responsibilities

• Coordinate and follow up on vessel arrivals, port stays and departures, maintaining continuous communication with the vessel and all parties involved.
• Arrange and coordinate port services and vessel requirements, including mooring and unmooring, fresh water and bunker supply, waste disposal, provisions, passenger and crew movements, technical services and any other operational needs.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with Masters, Officers and client representatives, providing regular operational updates and assisting with any requirements that may arise during the port call.
• Liaise with Port and Maritime Authorities, Immigration, Customs, Coast Guard and other relevant authorities, ensuring compliance with applicable procedures and requirements.
• Coordinate closely with internal departments, suppliers and service providers involved in each operation, ensuring that services are delivered efficiently and minimizing any delays that could affect the vessel's schedule.
• Handle and assist in resolving unexpected situations and last‑minute changes, which are an inherent part of maritime and port operations.
