AgileEngine is seeking a Platform Engineer to design and scale core infrastructure that supports rapid growth. You will work on cloud resources with AWS and Kubernetes, and help keep systems secure and performant.

You will collaborate with engineering and data science teams, implement AI-native tooling, and contribute to scalable platform services with a distributed architecture mindset.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of server development in Python or TypeScript.
• 1+ year API design and development using REST/gRPC.
• 1+ year AWS and Kubernetes experience, incl. Istio/Linkerd/Cilium service mesh.
• 1+ year building architectural components (service registry, streaming, caching, etc.).
• 6+ months work with LLMs, prompt engineering or AIOps tooling.
• 6+ months SDLC AI-native usage via Claude Code or Claude Cowork.
• Excellent communication skills, willingness to learn, ownership.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Platform Engineer to build and scale core infrastructure that supports rapid company growth. This person designs reliable platform services, manages cloud resources on AWS and Kubernetes, and works closely with engineering and data science teams to keep systems performant and secure. Comfort with distributed architecture and AI-native tooling matters here.

MUST HAVES

• 3+ years of server development in Python or TypeScript.
• 1+ year of experience with API design and development using REST/gRPC.
• 1+ year of experience with AWS and Kubernetes, including experience with Service Mesh technologies such as Istio, Linkerd, Cilium, or similar.
• 1+ year of experience building advanced architectural components such as service registry, streaming, event bus, distributed caching, federated/polyglot persistence, etc.
• 6+ months of experience working with LLMs, prompt engineering, harness engineering, or AIOps tooling.
• 6+ months of SDLC AI-native usage via Claude Code, Claude Cowork, or similar.
• Excellent communication skills, the ability to learn on the fly, and a desire for ownership.
• Upper-intermediate English level.
