Job summary
AgileEngine is seeking a Platform Engineer to design and scale core infrastructure supporting rapid growth. You will build reliable platform services, manage AWS and Kubernetes resources, and collaborate with engineering and data science teams to keep systems performant and secure.
Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with distributed architectures, service meshes, and AI-native tooling, with a strong focus on ownership and proactive communication.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of server development in Python or TypeScript.
- 1+ year API design and REST/gRPC development.
- 1+ year AWS and Kubernetes experience, with Istio/Linkerd/Cilium or similar.
- 1+ year building advanced architectural components (service registry, streaming, event bus, distributed caching, etc.).
- 6+ months of AI-native SDLC tooling (Claude Code, Claude Cowork, etc.).
- 6+ months of SDLC AI-native usage via Claude...
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable platform services.
- Monitor and optimize system performance and reliability.
- Manage cloud resources and service boundaries with security in mind.
- Implement best practices to improve development efficiency.
- Communicate status, risks, and issues with stakeholders.
