Job summary

dLocal is seeking a Platform Engineering Technical Referent to guide the design, build and evolution of our internal developer platform, CI/CD automation, and AI-native software delivery stack. You’ll enable 60+ engineering teams to ship features reliably, with automated, AI-assisted workflows across a modern cloud-native environment.

You will lead architectural discussions, establish standards, mentor engineers, and collaborate with Security, Infra and product teams to meet business needs while

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience building backend, platform, or DevOps systems.
• Proficient in TypeScript/Node.js, Go or Python.
• Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes and modern CI/CD pipelines on a major cloud provider (AWS preferred).
• Experience building internal tooling and platform components.
• Practical use of AI-assisted development in daily workflow.
• Strong English communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain core components of our internal developer platform.
• Evolve CI/CD automation on Kubernetes and GitOps tooling.
• Contribute to AI-native SDLC architecture and tooling.
• Champion platform standards, contracts, observability and security.
• Mentor and lead a multi-disciplinary platform team.
• Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure and product teams to align roadmaps.
• Identify automation opportunities and pilot AI innovations.
