Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Platform Engineer to design and scale core infrastructure supporting rapid growth. You will work with AWS and Kubernetes, build reliable platform services, and collaborate with engineering and data science teams to keep systems performant and secure.

You'll implement best practices, own end-to-end areas such as service registries, event buses, and distributed caching, and guide AI-native tooling and SDLC processes. Remote-friendly with flexible work options.

Qualifications

• 3+ years server development in Python or TypeScript.
• 1+ year API design with REST/gRPC.
• 1+ year AWS and Kubernetes incl Istio/Linkerd/Cilium.
• 1+ year building service registry, streaming, event bus, distributed caching.
• 6+ months experience with LLMs, prompt engineering or AIOps tooling.
• 6+ months SDLC AI-native usage via Claude Code or Claude Cowork.
• Excellent communication skills and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable platform services.
• Monitor, optimize system performance and identify bottlenecks.
• Manage cloud resources and service boundaries for security and reliability.
• Implement best practices to improve development efficiency.
