GoFundMe is seeking an Engineering Manager to join our Payments organization, building scalable payments infrastructure capable of handling billions in transactions. This hybrid role is based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and you will lead a high-performing engineering team, partnering with product, risk, finance, and compliance to deliver reliable payments experiences.

Formación
- 10+ years of software engineering experience
- Experience managing and developing high-performing engineering teams
- Strong technical judgment in architecture of distributed systems
- Experience with payments, fintech, or high-scale transactional systems
Responsabilidades
- Lead and develop a team of engineers building payments products and infrastructure.
- Partner with Product, Design, Risk, Finance, Compliance, Operations and external partners.
- Provide architectural leadership balancing scalability, reliability, maintainability, customer experience and speed.
- Lead complex initiatives from conception through launch and iteration.
- Build a high-performing engineering team through hiring, coaching, and career development.
- Maintain high standards for reliability, observability, security, testing and incident response.
- Collaborate across teams to evolve shared platforms and foundations.
- Communicate strategy, priorities, progress, risks, and trade-offs to leadership.
