Job summary

TJ Maxx in the United States is seeking a retail associate with leadership experience to support store operations and customer service. You will ensure efficient receiving and merchandising, maintain a clean, organized store, and train team members to uphold standards.

The role requires 1 year of retail work and at least 6 months in a leadership capacity, with strong communication and multitasking abilities. Expect nights and weekends and a compensation structure aligned with hourly pay scales.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
• Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Capable of multi-tasking and working nights/weekends.
• Team player with ability to train others.

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience
• Maintains a clean and organized store
• Orchestrates truck delivery and prioritizes merchandise on the sales floor
• Trains and mentors Associates on merchandising and processing principles
• Ensures items are properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded
• Communicates with management to ensure efficient flow of goods to sales floor
• Monitors productivity and coaches as necessary
• Organizes back stock for replenishment
• Upholds merchandising standards and signage
• Supports safety and labor law compliance
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs
• Assists in shrink reduction goals and program adherence
• Other duties as assigned
