Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Margin Analyst to monitor margin exceptions arising in daily client trading.

You will use team-built User Tools to decide on manual intervention needs, addressing unsecured debits, short positions, good faith violations, and box positions in margin accounts. You will serve as a primary liaison between front offices and operations, performing daily reviews and ensuring adherence to Federal, FINRA, and internal policies.

Qualifications

• English fluency for daily communication with US management and counterparties.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Customer-focused with ability to assist internal clients and prioritize inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Monitor margin loans to ensure compliance with equity level requirements.
• Serve as liaison between front offices and operations.
• Review cash and margin exceptions daily to prevent Reg T violations.
• Reconcile transactions between bank and brokerage accounts.
• Ensure collateral agreements align with policies and regulations.
• Manage client account interest and fee postings.
