Job summary

Abbott in Argentina is seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist for our Florencio Varela pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Buenos Aires. You will lead level-2 IT support, manage hardware and software maintenance, and contribute to system security and disaster recovery planning with a hands-on approach.

The role requires a Bachelor's or technical degree and 3–4 years of IT operations experience. You will work within a global, diverse environment and collaborate across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree, or technical institute degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field.
• 3 to 4 years of IT work experience in computer systems or support.
• Knowledge of basic hardware and software products and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides level-2 support, including incident handling, problem resolution, and Break/Fix.
• Provides hardware maintenance and software maintenance (operating system, system utilities, security tools, monitoring tools, tuning tools).
• Provides change management support including installation qualification, operational qualification, and configuration management.
• Develops and maintains system documentation (technical, operations, support and user).
• System tuning, and capacity planning and management. Manages problem resolution and documents steps involved.
