Job summary

Abbott IT Infrastructure Specialist role based at the Florencio Varela pharmaceutical plant in Buenos Aires. You will administer systems, provide level-2 support, and assist in disaster recovery planning and security activities.

Responsible for diagnostics, upgrades, and incident containment across LAN/WLAN and related infrastructure. Requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 3–4 years in IT with hardware/software troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3 to 4 years of IT work experience in computer systems or support.
• Knowledge of basic hardware and software products and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provides level-2 support including incident handling and problem resolution.
• Maintains hardware and software (OS, utilities, security tools, monitoring).
• Supports change management including installation qualification and configuration.
• Develops and maintains system documentation (technical, operations, support).
• Performs system tuning and capacity planning.
• Manages problem resolution and documents findings in tracking system.
• Assists other lines of business with site operations as needed.
