Ames Construction is seeking a Structures Superintendent to lead on-site coordination of foundations, formwork, rebar, concrete, steel and bridge work. You will supervise self‑perform crews and subcontractors, manage schedules, and ensure work meets drawings, codes and safety standards.

This safety‑sensitive role requires a strong background in heavy civil construction, knowledge of OSHA regulations, and the ability to communicate across project teams.

Formación

• High school diploma required; construction management or civil engineering preferred.
• 7+ years structural/concrete construction; 3+ years supervisory.
• Experience across cast‑in‑place concrete, formwork, reinforcing steel, structural steel erection, and bridges.
• Ability to read structural drawings and shop drawings.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam.
• OSHA 30‑Hour Construction certification.

Responsabilidades

• Direct and oversee daily structural field operations, including self‑perform crews and structural subcontractors.
• Coordinate sequencing and installation of structural systems with other trades to maintain workflow and schedule.
• Interpret and enforce compliance with drawings, specifications, submittals, and shop drawings.
• Oversee concrete placement operations, including formwork inspection, rebar verification, pour planning, finishing, and curing.
• Manage material deliveries, staging, crane/rigging plans, and equipment logistics to support uninterrupted production.
• Develop and maintain short‑interval (look‑ahead) schedules for structural scopes in coordination with the project schedule.
