Ames Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to support the project team on a major construction effort in Utah, with nationwide opportunities. You will help manage scheduling, forecasting, and planning while mitigating risk in field operations.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with clients, subcontractors and vendors to keep the project on track. Travel to project locations nationwide is expected.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years of construction experience or a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Strong written and oral communication skills are required.
• Must be proactive, detail-oriented and capable of scheduling awareness.

Responsabilidades

• Contract management: review design, contracts, bids, subcontracts and permits.
• Communicates with clients, subcontractors, vendors and stakeholders under PM supervision.
• Oversees project budget, tracks costs and forecasts financials with operations team.
• Provides technical support, conductability reviews, and ensure codes/specs compliance.
• Monitors schedule progress and coordinates with teams to maintain milestones.
• Leads assigned tasks and ensures quality and compliance with regulations.
