Ames Construction is seeking a Field Engineer to manage large and complex construction work at project sites, ensuring safe, smooth, and effective operations. You will work across road, bridge, building, and steel projects, with a focus on safety and quality control.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least one year of field experience, strong communication, and the ability to work in challenging weather, overtime, and weekends. Travel to project locations is expected.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as field engineer or similar role.
• Technical understanding of field projects including machinery and construction processes.
• Strong knowledge of safety guidelines (OSHA).
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving ability.

Responsabilidades

• Designs temporary structures for construction with safety considerations.
• Inspects installed equipment and resolves issues on-site.
• Directs on-site foremen and workers.
• Reports project status with accurate documentation.
• Performs quality control inspections per contract documents.
