Job summary

Redtree Engineering is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with 8+ years of hands-on design and calculation experience in heavy industrial settings to lead structural analysis for industrial facilities, power generation, mining, and energy infrastructure.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and field investigations, with responsibility for design of steel, concrete, foundations, and equipment supports, including turbine and boiler foundations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Structural emphasis) or Structural Engineering.
8+ years of structural engineering experience with hands‑on design and calculation work in industrial, energy, mining, oil & gas, or power generation environments.
Experience performing structural analysis and design as a primary responsibility.
Experience designing structural steel, pipe racks, reinforced concrete structures, foundations, and equipment support systems.
Experience using major structural analysis platforms: Autodesk Robot, SAP2000, or STAAD Pro.
Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).
Ability to lead technical work independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

Lead structural analysis and design of steel, concrete, foundation and support structures for industrial and energy facilities.
Own structural calculations, design packages, reports, specifications, and construction documents.
Design structures supporting industrial equipment and power generation equipment, including turbine and boiler foundations and pipe racks.
Coordinate with RevIT modeling team and multidisciplinary engineers throughout project execution.
Conduct field investigations, site visits, and construction support as required.
Lead equipment foundation design, rehabilitation, and infrastructure improvement projects.
Support project scoping, budgeting, scheduling, and engineering estimates.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
