Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer & SRE to operate and improve a Kubernetes-based API platform across public and private clouds, emphasizing automation, tooling, and incident management.

You will maintain the platform, implement observability with Grafana/Prometheus, handle incidents end-to-end, onboard new clients, and pursue automation to reduce manual work while ensuring scalability.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience operating Kubernetes in production (>=4 years).
• Strong Linux and command-line fundamentals.
• Ability to debug and troubleshoot complex systems end-to-end.
• Experience with a public cloud provider (Azure or AWS).

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Kubernetes-based platform across public and private clouds.
• Leverage observability tools to ensure actionable alerts with up-to-date runbooks.
• Manage incidents end-to-end, including root cause analysis and post-incident reviews.
• Onboard and support new clients onto the platform.
• Build automation and diagnostic tooling to reduce manual work and improve performance.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Support software and hardware upgrades and keep components current.
• Proactively manage capacity to scale with demand.
