Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. seeks an Infrastructure Engineer & SRE to operate and enhance a Kubernetes-based API platform across public and private clouds, including automation, tooling, and incident management.

Must have 4+ years running Kubernetes in production, strong Linux skills, and experience with Azure or AWS. Nice-to-haves include Grafana/Prometheus/Tempo, Python/Java, and Terraform/Helm for IaC. Remote-friendly with flex-time options.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Kubernetes in production (>=4 years).
• Strong Linux and command-line fundamentals.
• Experience debugging and troubleshooting complex systems end-to-end.
• Experience with a public cloud provider (Azure or AWS).
• Nice-to-have: Grafana/Prometheus/Loki/Tempo, scripting in Python/Java, IaC with Helm/Terraform, CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Kubernetes-based platform across public and private cloud environments.
• Work with observability tooling to keep alerts actionable and up-to-date runbooks.
• Manage incidents end-to-end including RCA and post-incident reviews.
• Onboard and support new clients onto the platform.
• Build automation and diagnostic tooling to reduce manual work and improve performance.
• Identify and deliver process improvements.
• Support software and hardware upgrades and keep components current.
• Proactively manage capacity to scale with demand.
