Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to operate and improve a Kubernetes-based API platform across public and private clouds. You will handle automation, tooling, and incident management while enabling onboarding of new clients onto the platform.

The role requires 4+ years of hands-on Kubernetes production experience, strong Linux skills, and an upper-intermediate level of English. Remote-friendly with flextime and a competitive USD-based pay structure is offered.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience operating Kubernetes in production.
• Strong Linux and command line fundamentals.
• Confident debugging and troubleshooting complex systems end-to-end.
• Experience with a public cloud provider, preferably Azure or AWS.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Kubernetes-based platform across public and private clouds.
• Work with observability tooling to ensure actionable alerts and up-to-date runbooks.
• Manage incidents end-to-end including root cause analysis and reviews.
• Onboard and support new clients onto the platform.
• Build automation and diagnostic tooling to reduce manual effort.
• Identify and deliver process improvements.
• Support software and hardware upgrades and keep components current.
• Proactively manage capacity to scale with demand.
