AgileEngine is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to operate and improve a Kubernetes-based API platform across public and private cloud environments, including automation, tooling, and incident management.

The role requires 4+ years of hands-on Kubernetes production experience, strong Linux fundamentals, and experience with a major cloud provider (Azure/AWS), plus upper-intermediate English. Remote-friendly with flexible flextime and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience operating Kubernetes in production.
• Strong Linux command line fundamentals.
• Experience with a public cloud provider, preferably Azure or AWS.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Kubernetes-based platform across public and private cloud environments.
• Work with observability tooling to ensure actionable alerts and up-to-date runbooks.
• Manage incidents end-to-end including root cause analysis and post-incident reviews.
• Onboard and support new clients onto the platform.
• Build automation and diagnostic tooling to reduce manual effort and improve performance.
• Identify and deliver process improvements in platform operations.
• Support software and hardware upgrades and keep components up to date.
• Proactively manage capacity to scale the platform with demand.
