AgileEngine is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to operate and improve a Kubernetes-based API platform across public and private clouds, including automation, tooling, and incident management.

The role requires 4+ years of hands-on Kubernetes production experience, strong Linux/CLI skills, and experience with a public cloud provider (Azure or AWS). English should be upper-intermediate, and the position offers flextime with remote and office options.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience operating Kubernetes in production
• Strong Linux and command line fundamentals
• Experience with a public cloud provider (Azure or AWS)
• Hands-on experience in debugging and troubleshooting complex systems
• Upper-intermediate English level
• Hands-on Kubernetes in production with Service Mesh is a plus

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Kubernetes-based platform across public and private cloud environments
• Work with observability tooling to ensure actionable alerts and up-to-date runbooks
• Manage incidents end-to-end including root cause analysis and post-incident reviews
• Onboard and support new clients onto the platform
• Build automation and diagnostic tooling to reduce manual effort and improve performance
• Identify and deliver process improvements
• Support software and hardware upgrades and keep components up to date
• Proactively manage capacity to scale the platform with demand
