Job summary

Abbott is seeking an IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our Florencio Varela, Buenos Aires team. The role focuses on system administration, level-2 incident support, and disaster recovery planning for our pharmaceutical manufacturing plant.

You will install, test, and upgrade platform components, maintain documentation, and contribute to security and capacity planning while coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure stable operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in computer science, information systems or related field.
• 3–4 years IT work experience in computer systems or support with demonstrated working
• Knowledge of basic hardware and software products and problem solving/troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides level-2 support, incident handling, and break/fix. Performs hardware and software maintenance including OS, utilities, security tools, and monitoring tools.
• Develops and maintains system documentation and supports change management processes. Participates in disaster recovery planning and testing and incident response.
• Installs, tests and upgrades infrastructure systems and infrastructure devices; ensures security configurations and asset tracking.
