Job summary

Metso is seeking a Sr. Engineer, Technical Support to join our Field Service team in San Juan, Argentina.

You will provide high-level technical expertise as an OEM reference, supporting growth, project development, and the delivery of technically sound solutions for equipment, spare parts, optimizations, and services. You will report to Manager, Field Service, with regular national and international travel to customer mining sites.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Industrial, Chemical or Metallurgical fields.
• Strong experience in equipment maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and failure analysis.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems and ability to read related drawings.

Responsibilities

• Support technical sales activities and tender processes with expert technical guidance.
• Prepare technical documentation and specifications for major contracts.
• Conduct technical audits, diagnostics, and reviews of maintenance procedures.
