Proofpoint is seeking a Senior DevOps and Data Engineer to join the Data Platform team in Córdoba, Argentina. This hybrid role focuses on reliability, automation, and the delivery of data pipelines and analytics capabilities across AWS-first infrastructure.

Formación

• Minimum 5+ years in DevOps/platform engineering or SRE with data-eng background.
• Deep AWS expertise and strong CI/CD tooling experience.
• Experience with data services and governance practices.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AWS Glue and data infra.
• Build and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using IaC (Terraform / CDK).
• Own observability: metrics, logs, alerts for data pipelines and platforms.
• Develop DataOps tooling and reusable pipeline templates.
• Manage container infra (Docker, ECS/EKS, Lambda) for data services.
• Operate workflow orchestration (MWAA/Airflow, Step Functions).
• Build and run AWS Glue ETL jobs for large-scale data ingestion.
• Enforce security: secrets management, least privilege, network controls.
• Collaborate with data/security teams; lead incident response and post-mortems.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in design reviews.
