Job summary

Givaudan in Argentina is seeking an IM&S Operational Buyer to manage indirect materials and services, ensuring security of supply and handling the full Requisition & Fulfillment process. You will report to the IM&S Team Lead and work in a hybrid setup with four home-office days and one day at the Martinez office in Buenos Aires.

The role requires a college degree (or advanced student) with 1+ year in procurement. Fluent English is expected; Portuguese is desirable.

• 1+ year of relevant procurement experience or experience in Shared Service Centers.

Responsibilities

• Release Purchase Orders to 3rd party suppliers according to sourcing and fulfillment instructions.
• Track and follow up Purchase Order deliveries to ensure security of supply.
• Provide support to company partners and vendors regarding Purchase Orders.
• Coordinate delivery and quality non-conformities concerning plant partners.
• Support investigation of root cause analysis on invoice discrepancies.
• Support follow-up on planning, quality and account payable escalations.
• Resolve vendor disputes and non-conformities.

As an IM&S Operational Buyer, you will manage indirect materials and services availability and resolve plant/region specific issues to ensure security of supply. Also, you will focus on assigned vendors or categories, and and responsible for the entire Requisition & Fulfillment (R&F) processing.

You will report to the IM&S Team Lead and you will have an hybrid working schedule, with 4 home office days and 1 day at our office located in Martinez, Buenos Aires.

Responsibilities:

• - Release Purchase Orders to 3rd party suppliers according to sourcing and fulfillment instructions defined by the global Category Managers and within quality and time constraints.
• - Track and follow up Purchase Order deliveries to ensure security of supply
• - Provide support to company partners and vendors regarding Purchase Orders
• - Coordinate delivery and quality non-conformities concerning respective plant partners
• - Support investigation of root cause analysis on invoice discrepancies
• - Support the follow-up on planning, quality and account payable escalations ensuring appropriate commercial relations with the supply base.
• - Resolve vendor disputes and non conformities.

Your professional profile requires:

• - College or University degree or advanced student
• - Languages: Fluent in English and Fluent Portuguese (desirable)
• - Professional experience: 1+ year of relevant experience in procurement (desirable) or relevant experience is Shared Service Centers
