Givaudan Argentina is seeking a Quality Coordinator to lead the Quality Control Laboratory team at our Munro site. You will ensure compliance with food safety standards, QA guidelines, and regulatory requirements while developing the team, reviewing results, and driving continuous improvement.

The role is on-site four days a week with one home-office day, reporting to the Head of Quality LATAM. This position offers exposure to an international environment and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar positions in the pharmaceutical, chemical, cosmetic, food manufacturing, or related industries.
• Bachelor's degree or Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Food Engineering, Food Science/Pharmacy/Biochemistry.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
• Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000 QMS and food safety principles.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the analysis of received samples, ensuring the accurate execution of chromatographic, microbiological, physicochemical, and sensory testing to verify compliance with established quality standards.
• Review and evaluate test results generated by the laboratory team, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and adherence to quality requirements.
• Help investigate non-conformities, identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence and ensure continuous improvement.
• Provide training, guidance, and technical support to team members, promoting knowledge development and operational excellence.
• Report deviations and propose improvements to procedures, contributing to the continuous enhancement of the Quality and Food Safety Management System.
• Participate in special projects, regional projects, audit programs, and inspections.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to improve services provided to internal and external customers.
• Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders in accordance with Company policies and standards.
• Develop, validate, and optimize analytical methods within areas of responsibility.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities related to the Quality function, as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
• Plan and manage team resources while supporting talent development, succession planning, and overall team growth.

As a Quality Coordinator, you will lead the Quality Control Laboratory team and oversee the management of laboratory resources to support our operations. You will ensure compliance with established quality standards, food safety requirements, and regulatory guidelines while promoting a high-performance culture through team leadership, coaching, and employee development.

You will report to the Head of Quality LATAM and you will work 4 days at our site located in Munro and 1 home office day.

Your Professional Profile Requires

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar positions in the pharmaceutical, chemical, cosmetic, food manufacturing, or related industries.
• Bachelor's degree or Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry/Food Engineering or Food Science/Pharmacy/ Biochemistry
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with SAP
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems, including ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000
• Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety regulations
• A strong understanding of food safety principles and systems is essential. This includes Product Recall Management, Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), Food Defense Programs, Non-Conforming Product Management, Allergen Control, Prerequisite Programs (PRPs), and Food Safety Policies and Standards.
