Job summary

Siemens Argentina is seeking an Indirect Procurement & Purchasing Specialist to support an efficient end-to-end procurement process. The role involves working closely with suppliers and stakeholders to manage purchasing operations effectively.

Qualifications

• Experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Supply Chain or Order Management.
• Hands-on experience with SAP or another ERP system.
• Experience with sourcing, supplier quotations, Purchase Orders and order follow-up.
• Intermediate Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs and data analysis.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the end-to-end purchasing process, from requirements and sourcing to Purchase Order follow-up.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations, support negotiations and supplier selection.
• Create and manage Shopping Carts and Purchase Orders correctly.
• Monitor orders and deliveries, proactively expedite when necessary.
• Support supplier setup and master data updates.
• Manage invoice discrepancies and support payment-related issues.
• Work closely with Procurement, Supply Chain, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain reports and provide visibility on purchasing activities.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
