Proofpoint is seeking a Senior DevOps and Data Engineer to join our Data Platform team in a hybrid role. You will own reliability, automation, and delivery of data pipelines and analytics capabilities, building cloud infrastructure (AWS-first) and DevOps tooling to empower data engineers.

You will work across AWS Glue, Athena, S3, and related services, shaping the observability stack and self-service DataOps tooling while ensuring security and compliance across the platform.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps or platform engineering, plus at least 2 years in data engineering.
• Deep expertise with AWS core services and data tools (Glue, Athena, S3).
• Strong CI/CD and IaC experience with Terraform and/or CDK.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data infra and ETL jobs.
• Build and manage AWS-based infrastructure and data services (S3, Glue, Athena).
• Own observability, incident response, and security for the data platform.
