Job summary

Tether is seeking a Product Engineering Lead to guide Keet's API and frontend teams, reporting to the CTO. You will shape feature development and set the engineering bar for a global-scale, P2P messaging app built on Holepunch's stack.

You’ll partner with product managers, mentor engineering leads, and balance engineering leadership with hands-on coding to ship fast across platforms while prioritizing security and offline-first design.

Qualifications

• Experience leading consumer product engineering teams.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and React.
• Experience partnering with product managers.
• Hands-on with distributed/local-first systems and security.

Responsibilities

• Run the API and frontend teams day to day, unblocking and delivering features.
• Set and uphold a high engineering bar for performance and reliability.
• Own the technical design of features and API surfaces.
• Collaborate with product to turn roadmap into buildable work and validate ideas with AI/tools.
