Job summary

Uber is seeking a Greenlight Team Lead to steer a high-stakes logistics and support hub, combining digital and physical operations. You will build and coach a high-performing team, manage end-to-end performance and make tough decisions on policy and terminations.

You'll handle escalations, drive process improvements, and own local projects to meet KPIs while maintaining a strong focus on the earner experience and stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• For Internals: At least 1 year of leadership experience or subject matter expertise (SME) at Uber.
• For Externals: At least 1 year of direct people management experience.
• Experience managing complex operations and stakeholder relationships.
• Proven experience in process improvement and P&L management.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop specialists and team leads, investing in their success to build high-performing talent.
• Manage end-to-end team performance and drive accountability on policies, including making difficult calls on performance management and terminations.
• Resolve complex in-person escalations and manage sensitive stakeholder situations with empathy and business judgment.
• Audit performance with Quality teams to identify training gaps and implement progressive improvements.
• Coordinate maintenance of the physical location, overseeing inventory, safety protocols, property management, and cleaning services.
• Surface ground-level insights and customer feedback to influence regional support logic and strategic projects.
• Optimize operational processes and manage local projects to hit KPIs and improve earner experience.
