Job summary

Chevron Corporation in Buenos Aires is seeking a Team Lead, Accounts Payable – International Upstream to lead invoice processing and payments across multiple countries, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and strict adherence to internal controls.

You will coach a team of AP analysts, manage end-to-end procure-to-pay cycles, support month-end closes, and partner with Treasury, Tax and Supply Chain while driving process improvements and ERP transitions in a hybrid Buenos Aires office.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in finance or accounting
• 2+ years leading or coordinating teams
• Solid understanding of end-to-end procure-to-pay cycle and internal controls
• Strong communication and decision-making under tight deadlines

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop AP analysts and manage workload and performance.
• Oversee end-to-end invoice processing and payment cycles across multiple countries.
• Ensure SOX controls and collaborate with audit requests and remediation actions.
• Coordinate month-end close, reconciliations, accruals and variance explanations.
• Partner with Treasury, Tax and Supply Chain across time zones.
• Drive process improvements, automation (RPA, dashboards) and ERP changes.
