Job summary

WSP is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to join the regional LATAM team. You will manage software licensing across lifecycle events, interpret complex licensing terms, and maintain accurate entitlements while driving cost efficiency.

You will collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance and engineering teams across regions to resolve licensing needs and ensure compliance in a high-volume environment. Proficiency in English and Spanish is required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Software Asset Management, software licensing, or IT Asset Management with SAM responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of software licensing models (node-locked, concurrent/floating, named-user, cloud/SaaS).
• Experience managing a broad software portfolio across multiple publishers and licensing conditions.
• Practical experience with entitlements, renewals, license utilization, compliance, optimization and/or software audits.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across the full lifecycle with accurate processing.
• Interpret licensing terms, metrics and entitlements across publishers and models.
• Maintain accurate software asset and entitlement records including purchasing/licensing info.
• Coordinate renewals, allocations and optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits and reporting to improve utilization and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance and external vendors to resolve licensing needs.
