Job summary

PIL Peru en Lima is seeking a detail-oriented Operations Executive to supervise day-to-day logistics, coordinate with carriers, partners and customs authorities, and ensure accurate records and timely cargo movement in a fast-paced international environment.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Foreign Trade or Logistics, at least three years in shipping or port operations, strong English skills, and proficiency in logistics software and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Degree in Foreign Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in shipping and port operations.
• Comprobable experience in logistics, shipping or supply chain.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to understand complex processes and draw valid conclusions.
• English language proficiency (written and spoken).
• Knowledge of port regulations and local usages in ports.
• MS Office intermediate knowledge.
• Proficiency in logistics management software.
• Experience as boarding clerk, Operations assistant or executive.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipping schedules and cargo movement with carriers, partners and customs authorities.
• Resolve operational issues, including delays, discrepancies, and damaged goods.
• Conduct performance evaluations of operative partners and service providers.
• Maintain accurate records of ship calls, costs, and operational activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline operational processes and enhance efficiency.
