PIL Peru en Lima is seeking a detail-oriented Operations Executive to supervise day-to-day logistics, coordinate with carriers, partners and customs authorities, and ensure accurate records and timely cargo movement in a fast-paced international environment.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Foreign Trade or Logistics, at least three years in shipping or port operations, strong English skills, and proficiency in logistics software and MS Office.

Qualifications

Degree in Foreign Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Minimum 3 years' experience in shipping and port operations.
Comprobable experience in logistics, shipping or supply chain.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to understand complex processes and draw valid conclusions.
English language proficiency (written and spoken).
Knowledge of port regulations and local usages in ports.
MS Office intermediate knowledge.
Proficiency in logistics management software.
Experience as boarding clerk, Operations assistant or executive.

Responsibilities

Coordinate shipping schedules and cargo movement with carriers, partners and customs authorities.
Resolve operational issues, including delays, discrepancies, and damaged goods.
Conduct performance evaluations of operative partners and service providers.
Maintain accurate records of ship calls, costs, and operational activities.
Collaborate with internal teams to streamline operational processes and enhance efficiency.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Operations Executive to join our dynamic team at PIL Peru en Lima. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day logistics operations and ensuring smooth coordination between various stakeholders.

Key Responsabilities

Coordinate shipping schedules and cargo movement with carriers, partners and customs authorities.
Resolve operational issues, including delays, discrepancies, and damaged goods, in a timely manner.

MUST HAVE

Degree in Foreign Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Minimum 3 years' experience in shipping and port operations, as boarding clerk, Operations assistant or executive, Cargo Flow position or related position.
Comprobable experience in related industries (logistics, shipping or supply chain).
Ability to understand complex processes, define problems and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts (such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions) to practical situations.
Knowledge of laws and rules applicable by authorities as well as local usages and customs in the ports under her/his jurisdiction.
IT and System Requirements: MS Office package intermediate knowledge.
Language: Good command level of English language written and spoken.
Strong understanding of international shipping regulations and practices.
Proficiency in logistics management software.
