Crew Life at Sea Ltd. seeks an experienced onboard medical professional to provide emergency care for guests and crew and to manage the ship's medical clinic.

You will lead safety drills, coordinate with onshore facilities, and maintain patient records in a remote maritime environment. Ideal candidates hold RN or Paramedic certification with at least three years in emergency medicine, and have strong communication, teamwork, and decision-making abilities to thrive in a demanding expedition

Formación

• Certified RN or Paramedic with current license.
• Minimum 3 years in emergency medicine.
• Remote or wilderness medicine experience preferred.
• Cruise ship or expedition experience a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay calm and make quick decisions in emergencies.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Team player willing to work long hours and be on call.

Responsabilidades

• Provide emergency medical care to guests and crew in line with company protocols and medical guidelines.
• Maintain and manage the onboard medical clinic, including inventory and restocking of medical supplies.
• Conduct regular safety drills and trainings for crew on emergency medical procedures.
• Collaborate with the ship's captain and other crew to ensure safety and well-being of passengers.
• Monitor and report medical incidents to appropriate authorities.
• Communicate with onshore medical facilities for consultations or evacuations.
• Maintain accurate medical records for patients treated onboard.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by captain or medical director.

• - Maintain and manage the onboard medical clinic, including inventory and restocking of medical supplies
• - Conduct regular safety drills and trainings for crew members on emergency medical procedures
• - Collaborate with the ship's captain and other crew members to ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers
• - Monitor and track any medical incidents and report them to the appropriate authorities
• - Communicate with onshore medical facilities for any necessary consultations or evacuations
• - Maintain accurate medical records for all patients treated onboard
• - Assist with any other duties as assigned by the ship's captain or medical director

Qualifications

• - Current certification as a Registered Nurse or Paramedic
• - Minimum of 3 years of experience in emergency medicine
• - Experience in remote or wilderness medicine preferred
• - Previous experience working on a cruise ship or in a similar expedition setting is a plus
• - Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• - Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in emergency situations
• - Excellent organizational and time management skills
• - Ability to work well in a team environment
• - Willingness to work long hours and be on call as needed
