OfficeTwo is seeking a detail-oriented Preconstruction Estimator & Design Coordinator to support residential remodeling projects in the preconstruction phase.

You will perform quantity takeoffs, prepare detailed drafts in JobTread, collect pricing, and assist with floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings. This is a full-time, hybrid role in CABA, Buenos Aires with a 8am-5pm ET schedule and 10 days PTO per contract year.

Formación

• Mid-level professional with experience in residential remodeling, estimating, or design.
• Experience reviewing construction plans, measurements, and project scopes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with project information and pricing.

• Assist with change orders and related project documentation.
• Support material and finish selections during preconstruction.

• Keep project documentation organized, accurate, and up to date.
• Coordinate with the Operations Manager throughout the estimating and preconstruction process.
• Support the Owner with the information needed for final technical estimating decisions and approvals.

About The Role

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Preconstruction Estimator & Design Coordinator to support residential remodeling projects throughout the preconstruction phase.

This role combines estimating, quantity takeoffs, pricing coordination, and design support. You will work with project plans, measurements, scopes, and material selections to prepare detailed estimate drafts, collect subcontractor and supplier pricing, and keep project information accurate and organized.

You will also support the design side of preconstruction by assisting with floor plans, elevations, presentations, and 3D renderings. This is a great opportunity for a mid-level professional with experience in residential construction, estimating, architecture, or design who enjoys working across both technical and visual aspects of a project.

Key Responsibilities

What We're Looking For

• Mid-level professional with experience in construction estimating, architecture, design, preconstruction, or a related field.
• Experience reviewing construction plans, measurements, and project scopes.
• Experience with quantity takeoffs and preparing estimates.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with project information and pricing.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Comfortable communicating with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal team members.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, estimates, and deadlines.
• Proactive and comfortable working independently.
• Experience with JobTread is strongly preferred.
• Experience with takeoff and estimating software is preferred.
• Experience with design or 3D rendering software is preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD or Revit is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Spanish communication skills for coordinating with subcontractors.
• Experience working on residential remodeling or renovation projects.
• Experience creating floor plans, elevations, or 3D renderings.

What Success Looks Like

• Quantity takeoffs and estimate drafts are accurate and well organized.
• Subcontractor and supplier pricing is collected and compared efficiently.
• Pricing, allowances, assumptions, and project documentation remain current.
• Estimates are properly prepared in JobTread for review and final approval.
• Design materials, plans, and presentations clearly support the preconstruction process.
• Project information is organized and easy for the team to access.
• You can independently manage your responsibilities while keeping the Operations Manager informed of progress and outstanding items.

Schedule

• Monday to Friday
• 8am to 5pm Eastern Time
• Standard U.S. holidays
• 10 days of PTO per contract year

Compensation

Salary: USD $2,000 to $2,300 per month, depending on experience. Contractor Agreement.

Incentives: Additional performance-based incentive pay may be offered.
