Job summary
AWS Applied AI Solutions (AAIS) is seeking a Technical Account Manager to craft and execute strategies that drive customer adoption of AWS services. You will represent AWS, engage with senior leadership on incidents and risk management, and work with customers to plan and build scalable solutions.
The role requires 5+ years of technical engineering experience, strong English communication, and a Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, Math, or equivalent. Some travel is required.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of technical engineering experience.
- Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting in at least two of: compute, storage, networking, CDN, databases, DevOps, big data and analytics, security, or applications development.
- Proficient in English, written and spoken.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to enterprise customers regarding AWS service or Cloud.
- Analyze and present periodic reviews of operational performance to customers.
- Provide detailed reviews of service disruptions metrics and pre‑launch planning.
- Ensure AWS environments remain healthy while reducing cost and complexity.
- Foster trusted relationships with customers and understand their business needs.
- Lead technical discussions with senior leadership on incidents, trade‑offs, and risk management.
- Collaborate with AWS global engineering to resolve customer issues.
- Travel 10‑25% as needed.
