Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Buenos Aires, Argentina seeks an attorney for our Digital Products & Experience Legal Team to provide direct product counsel, guidance on data use and evolving laws, and to help revise customer agreements and terms.

You will work with cross-functional teams to balance innovation with compliance in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment. The role focuses on customer identity, authentication, and fraud prevention, requiring strong legal research and clear communication

Qualifications

• Lawyer qualified to practice in the location where the position is based.
• At least 3 years of relevant legal experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.
• Background in financial services regulation or supporting another highly regulated business.
• Proactive problem-solver who is not afraid to explore new technologies and can demonstrate a thoughtful approach to testing and incorporating new tools into a professional environment.
• Excellent legal research and writing skills, with the ability to summarize legal and regulatory developments clearly and concisely for distribution and oral presentation to a non-legal audience.
• Ability to develop strong relationships with the business, corporate functions, and fellow legal and support professionals.
• A true self-starter with the ability to work independently to manage competing and changing priorities and coordinate among a wide range of internal stakeholders.
• Comfort in a rapidly changing business environment, and ease in switching subject matters throughout the day.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Providepractical, risk-based legal guidance for digital products and services; identification; customer authentication; and fraud and scam prevention.
• Advise on product development, strategy, current and changing legal frameworks, and risk decisions for new and evolving use cases and capabilities.
• Work with senior counsel and business teams on discrete, but expanding, areas across CCB’s range of digital products, including advice on pertinent regulations, implementation strategy, contracts, and customer communications.
• Supportinitiatives involving emerging technologies and partner-enabled capabilities, including governance approvals and issue escalation.
• Reviewcustomer-facing content to ensure clear, accurate, and compliant disclosures and communications.
• Draftandupdateagreements, disclosures, and terms and conditions to support product development and ongoing operations.
• Monitorlaws, regulations, enforcement trends, and industry standards impacting covered products and services.
• Identifylegal and regulatory issues early andescalatematerial risks with clear options and recommendations.
• Summarizeregulatory developments for stakeholders andtranslaterequirements into actionable product and process changes.
• Contributeto the development and maintenance of applicable policies, procedures, and controls.
