Job summary

EY in Buenos Aires, Argentina, is seeking a Pipeline to Cash Detect Controls Senior Associate to join our Finance team on a Hybrid basis. You will work with US-based engagement teams to manage financial metrics and control excellence.

You will focus on Detect Controls, automate reporting, and communicate findings in English, helping build the LATAM Finance Operations capability over time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in a finance role.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerApps, Power BI, and data analytics tools.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is a plus.
• Proficiency in English and ability to coordinate with US-based roles.
• Ability to provide guidance to team members as needed.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial metrics to identify discrepancies and control exceptions.
• Identify opportunities to automate financial reporting and control information distribution.
• Monitor and validate key financial metrics within the internal audit scope.
• Identify financial discrepancies and coordinate follow-up with stakeholders.
• Automate the distribution of financial reports to improve timeliness and reduce manual effort.
• Build relationships with stakeholders across Finance and engagement teams; communicate findings in English.
• Manage E-Code process in the ERP platform including the creation of code for engagements and aligning with policy.
• Validate and process Estimate to Complete (ETCs).
• Ensure generation and delivery of invoices to client servers aligns with SOW.
• Manage collections and invoice adjustments for client server accounts.
• Collaborate with US-based accounts support for cash collection, escalation and resolution.
