Strider is seeking an experienced DBA to manage and optimize multi-database environments across SQL Server, Snowflake, and MySQL on AWS. The role emphasizes cost control, performance tuning, and scalable data warehousing architectures in a cloud-based setup.

The ideal candidate will leverage AI-assisted tooling to streamline operations, communicate effectively in English, and contribute to strategic data initiatives across on-prem and cloud components.

Formación

• 7+ years of DBA experience required.
• Experience with Windows-hosted SQL Server and Snowflake.
• Hands-on AWS experience and cloud data warehousing.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted tools (Claude).
• Strong written and spoken English communication.

Responsabilidades

• Manage, run, and tune MySQL, SQL Server, and Snowflake environments.
• Upgrade Windows Server OS hosting SQL Server.
• Track and optimize Snowflake usage and costs.
• Design and build databases, including stored procedures.
• Design Snowflake-based data warehouse solutions.
• Product stacks: C#/SQL Server on Windows EC2 and MySQL on AWS RDS.

What you will work on
