Monks is seeking a Semi Senior Data Engineer in Buenos Aires to design and build scalable data solutions for digital marketing. You will work with Analytics and Solutions Engineering on end-to-end data engineering—from discovery to deployment—supporting reporting and analytics use cases.

You will develop robust pipelines, reconcile data across sources, and contribute to client projects, with a focus on data quality and scalable cloud infrastructure. Hybrid work with a collaborative team at Monks.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in information engineering, CS, applied math, or related field.
• 2-3 years of analytics/data experience in marketing, customer, and business apps.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and Python and cloud products.
• Experience building data pipelines with ETL/ELT tools and data architectures.
• Familiar with Agile and DataOps practices.
• Experience with media/advertising data is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain dbt models integrating marketing/advertising data across DSPs and third-party sources.
• Develop cross-platform metric allocation logic to support monthly reporting and attribution.
• Create ingestion pipelines from diverse sources including cloud transfers and vendor APIs.
• Configure and evolve GCP infrastructure with Terraform; collaborate on deployment standards.
• Lead migration of legacy ingestion to scalable Dataflow/Cloud Run solutions.
• Maintain observability and alerting across the stack using Cloud Monitoring.
• Manage releases across QA, STG, and PROD with GitHub Actions.
• Produce documentation and runbooks; communicate with client-facing teams.
