Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Datacenter Services Operations professional to oversee break/fix and hardware maintenance, network configuration, and safety/compliance across critical data center environments. The role involves mentoring technicians, validating connections, and ensuring SLAs are met while adhering to SOPs/MOPs.

You will lead continuous improvement efforts and collaborate with partners to deliver reliable infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Datacenter Operations: Break/Fix and Hardware Maintenance – identify opportunities, guide less experienced technicians on hardware handling, ensure durable server performance.
• Network Configuration, Installation, and Augmentation – advise on network configurations, validate cabling and connectivity, ensure devices are connected and error-free.
• Technical Support and Troubleshooting – monitor and assign work in ticketing systems, mentor staff, implement solutions within SLAs.
• Safety, Security, Compliance and Documentation – ensure SOPs/MOPs, security procedures and site health and safety guidelines are followed.
• Continuous Improvement – train on fix techniques, identify trends, escalate issues, engage global teams.
• Collaboration, Vendor Relations and Leadership – lead collaboration with partners, ensure SLAs, quality, and implement improvements.
• Planning & Execution – complete complex tasks with limited instructions, guide prioritization.
• Collaboration & Partnership – build cross-team partnerships to deliver impactful work.
• Problem Solving – develop procedures, troubleshoot non-routine issues with data.
• Continuous Learning – stay current with trends and best practices, seek feedback.
• Continuous Improvement – propose and implement process improvements.
