Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Data Center Services Operations professional to lead break/fix and hardware maintenance, network configuration, and technical support within client environments. The role emphasizes adherence to SOPs/MOPs, safety, and collaboration with global teams.

You will mentor technicians, monitor SLA performance, and drive continuous improvement by identifying trends and coordinating with vendors to ensure resiliency and high availability in data center operations.

Responsibilities

• Identifies opportunities for other team members to work with servers and main hardware to ensure efficient performance across its lifecycle.
• Guides technicians on power distribution units and replacement hardware, removing and troubleshooting hardware without disturbing critical infrastructure.
• Guides and instructs technicians on implementing defined network communications and solutions, signing off on client configurations.
• Validates cabling and connectivity, ensuring devices are connected and error-free.
• Monitors and assigns work in ticketing environment, mentoring staff and implementing solutions within SLAs.
• Oversees SOPs/MOPs adherence, ensuring safety and security procedures are followed at data center sites.
• Trains on fix/repair techniques aligned with objectives, escalating trends to senior peers and engaging global teams.
• Leads collaboration with project teams/colocation partners to test and validate installations and coordinate site utility needs.
• Ensures contractors and vendors deliver quality services and meet SLAs.
• Contributes to QA through process creation and peer training.
• Completes complex tasks with limited instructions and guides team on shifting priorities.
• Collaborates across teams to deliver impactful work and align with stakeholder needs.
• Develops procedures to identify and resolve routine or non-routine issues and troubleshoots complex errors.
• Embraces continuous learning and applies new skills and tools to stay current with trends.
• Recommends and shares improvements to complex processes and workflows.
