Job summary

Oracle’s Datacenter Services Operations role focuses on break/fix, hardware maintenance, network configuration, and technical support. The candidate will monitor SLAs, mentor junior technicians, and ensure SOPs/MOPs are followed across data center environments.

Qualifications

• Identifies opportunities for others to upgrade server components and ensure efficient lifecycle.
• Trains/mentors technicians on best practices for hardware installation and change control.
• Adheres to SOPs/MOPs and safety guidelines while performing datacenter tasks.
• Acts as a technical liaison across technical and non-technical teams to resolve risks.

Responsibilities

• Datacenter Services Operations-Break/Fix and Hardware Maintenance: identify opportunities for team members and guide hardware replacement.
• Datacenter Services Operations-Network Configuration, Installation, and Augmentation: instruct on network configurations and validate cabling and connectivity.
• Technical Support and Trouble Shooting: monitor and assign work in ticketing systems and escalate trends as needed.
• Safety and Compliance: ensure SOP/MOP adherence and maintain site security and health guidelines.
• Continuous Improvement: train on SOPs, identify repeating issues, and engage global teams.
