Job summary

Cognizant in Buenos Aires seeks a Crisis Response Agent to monitor online sources and escalate incidents for our global client portfolio. You will work in a fast-paced team, reviewing information and communicating clearly under pressure.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in a relevant field (political science, journalism, digital media, international studies, etc.)

• Proficiency in a foreign language is a plus

• Research valuable help and information to those affected by a disaster

What will you do?

Seeking discerning individuals plugged into internet technologies and developing news stories. You will be working on the leading edge of fast-developing incidents including most man-made and natural disasters. Candidates can expect a fast-paced, energetic environment working on a team that delivers high-impact awareness of world events. Successful candidates will be able to review a variety of online sources and internal information to accurately escalated issues of concern to our client.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and perform to expectation all new tasks, workflows and processes, including updates to existing work, as they are rolled out by the Shift & Team Leads

Necessary Skills And Experience Required

• BA/BS degree. The ideal candidate will have majored in political science, journalism, digital media, international studies, geography, meteorology, environmental sciences, geology, physics, chemistry or a related field, or have a technical degree.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), with a proven ability to work successfully with cross-functional teams with senior stakeholders and executive visibility.
• Calm under pressure, with an ability to function well in urgent, developing situations. Comfortable juggling multiple projects at once.
• Proficiency in a foreign language is a plus.
