Met T&S, la compañía global de MAIRE group, busca un/a Construction Quality Deputy Manager para proyectos en Argentina y Sudamérica. El rol implica liderar programas QA/QC en grandes sitios industriales, coordinar con socios y clientes, y asegurar la coherencia de las prácticas de calidad a lo largo de proyectos EPC.

Se valorará experiencia en entornos multinacionales, dominio del español e inglés, y disponibilidad para trabajar en Argentina y otros países de la región.

Qualifications

• Habla español y inglés con fluidez.
• Experiencia liderando obras industriales grandes (EPC, energía, petróleo y gas, petroquímica o infraestructura).
• Conocimiento de entornos de construcción locales en Sudamérica, contratistas y regulaciones.
• Capacidad para trabajar en equipos multiculturales e internacionales.
• Disposición para apoyar proyectos en Argentina y otros países de la región.

Responsabilités

• Asegurar la adecuación y aplicación del Site Quality Plan en obra.
• Verificar actividades de NDT, Inspecciones de soldadura, pintura y corrosión y las actividades del equipo de control de calidad en sitio.
• Garantizar la correcta preparación de informes de pruebas e inspecciones.
• Revisar el sistema de calidad de subcontratistas y procedimientos.
• Rastrear el flujo de información y documentos, solicitudes de inspecciones y no conformidades.
• Identificar defectos organizativos o procedimentales y coordinar acciones correctivas con el Site Manager.
• Planificar y realizar auditorías periódicas en actividades de subcontratistas.
• Preparar su sección de informe mensual del proyecto.

Job summary/Role description

• The Construction Quality Manager (QAM) is appointed for major projects or for projects of particular difficulty due to the size or to the complex contractual structure, like Consortium or Joint Venture (where the Company has the leadership role).
• His/her main responsibility is to keep relations with Partners and Client to ensure that QA/QC Plan and procedures are correctly applied by all members of Consortium (if any), verify the uniformity and coordination among all members and ensure uniformity and coherence.

Activities and main responsibilities

• Ensure Site Quality Plan adequacy and application at Site, arranging any reviews, if required;
• Verify Non Destructive Test, Welding Inspectors activities, Painting & Corrosion Inspectors activities and quality control site team activities
• Ensure the proper preparation of the test, inspection reports and books
• Review Subcontractors’ site Quality System, Quality Organization and procedures
• Check the flow of information and documents, for example Request for Inspections, follow up of the activities with subcontractors, non-conformities;
• Identify any organizational or procedural defect, analyzing critical points, arranging any corrective action together with the Site Manager and informing the home office pertinent departments;
• Plan and perform periodical Audit on Subcontractors activities.
• Prepare his/her own section of the Project Monthly report.

The Construction Quality Manager operatively reports to the Site Construction Manager
