Formación

• Fluent in Spanish
• Fluent in English
• Experience managing large industrial, EPC, energy, oil & gas, petrochemical, or infrastructure construction sites
• Understanding of local South American construction environments, contractors and regulations
• Willing to support projects across Argentina and the region

• Verify adequacy and application of Site HSE Plan and related procedures; prepare revisions.

• Organize and participate in HSE walkarounds, inspections, and audits on site; prepare reports and action plans.

• Are fluent in Spanish (mandatory) and English.
• Have experience managing large industrial, EPC, energy, oil & gas, petrochemical, or infrastructure construction sites.
• Understand local South American construction environments, contractors, and regulations.
• Are comfortable working in multicultural and international project teams.
• Are willing to support projects across Argentina and other countries in the region when required.
• The HSE Manager implements and monitors the MAIRE group HSE Policy and Management System at the site. He ensures compliance with HSE standards, conducts inspections and audits, organizes training, investigates accidents, and maintains records. He prepares HSE reports and updates site statistics, proposing recovery plans as needed.

Activities and main responsibilities

• Support and monitor the implementation of the MAIRE group HSE Policy and HSE Management System at site.
• Perform the Job Hazardous Analysis (JHA) and participate in the Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
• Verify the adequacy and application of the Site HSE Plan and all related procedures, preparing any revisions.
• Update the HSE documentation during all the construction phases when deemed necessary.
• Check that Subcontractors perform their activities in accordance with all the HSE applicable procedures, regulation and standards, promoting all necessary action to ensure that the said procedures and regulations are observed.
• Organize, plan, and participate in periodical HSE walkarounds, inspections, and audits on site, prepare all the relevant reports, action plans, verify the follow-up, and the timely execution of the corrective actions.
• Organize and coordinate the HSE Training activities on site.
• Organize and participate in all relevant site HSE Meetings.
• Cooperate with the Client concerning the issuing of any necessary work permits.
• Organize a full investigation of work accidents, finalized to the identification of corrective measures to avoid reoccurrence.
• Keep accident records, identifying the areas to which prevention must be addressed.
• Promote indoctrination/training of personnel.
• Lead and coordinate the activities of the Site HSE Committee (composed of all Contractor and Subcontractors HSE Representatives).
• Lead and coordinate the site emergency response team and fire prevention/fighting team, organizing training and emergency drill mock activities.
• Prepare the HSE section of the construction monthly progress report and other periodical reports.
• Prepare and update the Site HSE Statistics, verify the performance versus the Project and corporate HSE Objective, Targets and performance indicators; propose recovery plan in case of mismatch.

The Construction HSE Manager operatively reports to the Site Construction Manager
