AIREKO Construction Corp. is seeking an EHS Specialist to support construction projects and foster a safety‑first culture. You will conduct site inspections, identify hazards, and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations. The role requires a bachelor’s degree, 3+ years of experience, OSHA 30, strong communication, and MS Office proficiency; English and Spanish bilingual preferred. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Health and Safety, Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Science, or related field (equivalent combinations may be considered).
• Minimum of 3 years of construction safety or EHS experience.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification required.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsabilités

• Conduct site inspections and identify unsafe conditions, hazards, and safety risks.
• Work closely with project managers, supervisors, and field teams to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Participate in project planning and assist with Pre-Task Plans, hazard assessments, and safety procedures.
• Monitor safety compliance and stop unsafe work when necessary.
• Support inspections, incident and near‑miss investigations, corrective actions, and safety training.
• Coordinate safety permits and requirements, including Confined Space, Hot Work, and Lockout/Tagout.
• Maintain accurate safety records, training documentation, inspections, and equipment certifications.
• Represent the project during OSHA, client, or other external safety inspections.
