Endava is hiring a Mid-level Data Engineer for a remote role in a marketing analytics environment. You will own data ingestion, transformations, and warehouse modeling to power client reporting and AI features.

The role emphasizes modular dbt/Dataform pipelines, strong SQL and Python skills, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to ensure data quality and scalable architectures. The position offers flexible remote work, competitive compensation, and a chance to impact analytics at scale

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering or related software engineering role.
• Strong hands‑on experience building and supporting production‑grade data pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of Apache Airflow, including DAG development, scheduling, dependencies, retries, and monitoring.
• Strong experience with Snowflake or equivalent cloud data warehouse technologies.
• Proven experience with DBT.
• Solid experience with AWS or another major cloud platform.
• Experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure‑as-Code practices.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting complex production issues and performing root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dbt pipelines, data marts, and warehouse models used for reporting, analytics, and AI features.
• Translate complex procurement business logic into maintainable pipeline code.
• Maintain data quality checks, monitoring, and alerting across pipelines.
• Design, develop, and optimize data models and SQL queries for performance and cost.
• Collaborate with architecture, DevOps, product, and analytics teams to deliver reliable data products.
