Endava is seeking a Data Engineer to design and operate scalable data pipelines and data platforms. You will implement Airflow-based workflows, DBT data quality checks, and Snowflake-based storage, while using AWS for cloud services and IaC for deployment.

The role emphasizes production reliability and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The candidate should have hands-on experience with Python and SQL, strong debugging skills, and the ability to mentor others in best practices.

Formación

• 5+ years in data engineering or related software role.
• Production-grade data pipelines experience.
• Strong Airflow DAG development and monitoring experience.
• Snowflake or equivalent cloud data warehouse experience.
• DBT experience.
• Solid AWS or other major cloud platform experience.
• CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Root-cause analysis of production issues.
• Ability to own complex initiatives end-to-end.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, validation, and delivery.
• Build reusable, modular, configuration-driven data processing solutions.
• Contribute to technical architecture with focus on scalability and reliability.
• Design and optimize data models, SQL queries, and workflows.
• Develop Airflow workflows with scheduling, retries, monitoring and alerting.
• Implement DBT-based data quality checks and validation.
• Leverage AWS and Snowflake for data warehousing and cloud storage.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines and IaC practices.
• Provide production support and incident RCA, and drive continuous improvement.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead complex engineering initiatives.
