Job summary

Endava is seeking a Mid‑level Data Engineer to join the Data and Analytics function, connecting client data from paid media and CRM into a centralized warehouse. You will develop modular dbt/Dataform transformations and ensure scalable, production‑grade pipelines for reporting, analytics, and AI features.

You’ll design data models, maintain Airflow workflows, and implement CI/CD while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable data for dashboards and insights.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering or a related software engineering role.
• Strong hands-on experience building and supporting production-grade data pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of Apache Airflow, including DAG development, scheduling, dependencies, retries, and monitoring.
• Strong experience with Snowflake or equivalent cloud data warehouse technologies.
• Proven experience with DBT.
• Solid experience with AWS or another major cloud platform.
• Experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting complex production issues and performing root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dbt pipelines, data marts, and warehouse models for client reporting and analytics.
• Translate complex business logic into maintainable pipeline code with tests.
• Maintain data quality checks and pipeline monitoring across environments.
• Collaborate with architecture, DevOps, product, and client teams to ensure data reliability.
