Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline or health care preferred.
• Prior clinical trial experience including a management/leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of applicable clinical research regulatory requirements (i.e., Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) guidelines).
• Good leadership skills.
• Computer skills including proficiency in use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Written and verbal communication skills including good command of English.
• Excellent organizational and problem solving skills.
• Effective time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff in accordance with organization's policies and applicable regulations; plan, assign, direct work and assess performance.
• Participate in hiring by reviewing candidates and interviewing; ensure onboarding and training.
• Ensure staff have materials, systems access and training to complete duties; oversee training plan and SOP reviews.
• Allocate resources to clinical studies by assigning staff based on experience and training.
• Monitor quality of staff clinical work through regular review of outcomes.
• Identify quality risks and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure workload and quality metrics are met; regular reporting to management.
• Collaborate with other clinical teams and leadership to tackle project challenges and deliver exemplary service.
• Participate in quality or process improvement initiatives.
